Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar's recent visits to various countries have significantly promoted cooperation in different fields. Here are the details:Visit to Bangladesh: From August 23 to 24, 2025, Ishaq Dar made a historic visit to Bangladesh, the first by a Pakistani foreign minister in 13 years. During the visit, the two sides reviewed all aspects of bilateral relations and signed six agreements covering different fields, including an agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic and official passport holders and a memorandum of understanding on the Joint Trade Working Group. These agreements will institutionalize cooperation between the two countries in economic and trade, diplomat training, academic exchanges, media cooperation, and cultural exchanges, and further strengthen cooperation in these areas.Visit to China: On August 21, 2025, Ishaq Dar held the sixth China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Islamabad. The two sides agreed to continue to deepen the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Pakistan. China supports Pakistan in building the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor 2.0, focusing on the "Five Corridors" of growth, livelihood, innovation, greenness, and openness, and focusing on the three major fields of industry, agriculture, and mining. Pakistan looks forward to further deepening practical cooperation with China in various fields, and will fully support the construction of the China-Pakistan Community with a Shared Future, as well as the Belt and Road Initiative and the three global initiatives.
